Silverpin Studios, in partnership with Director/Producer Anthony Cortese presents an Evening with Disney Legends Bob Gurr and Rolly Crump.  An exclusive event to raise money for the long awaited feature documentary, Walt Disney - Master of Dreamers.

Disney legends Bob Gurr and Rolly Crump(Rolly attending via Skype), join award winning authors Jeff Barnes and Sam Gennawey along with Audio Animatronics pioneer Garner Holt in an intimate evening and discussion on Walt Disney's journey from the 1964-65 New York World's Fair through the opening of Epcot.   Join us as we discuss Walt's leadership style and the loyalty his team of imagineers and designers had, in order to complete Walt Disney World after Walt's untimely death in 1966.  What was Walt Disney's original vision for EPCOT and why didn't his dream of a utopian city ever happen?  What made Walt Disney such a unique leader and inspirational force to the men and women who worked along side him?

The event will be hosted at the Beautiful Highway 39 Event Center in Anaheim, just minutes from Disneyland!  Highway 39 Event Center is an extremely unique venue that showcases an incredible collection of classic American cars, vintage neon signs and original 1950’s gas pumps.  The venue includes state-of-the-art sound and lighting and a raised stage ensuring everyone has a great seat!  Your ticket includes all you can eat food, cash bar and a silent auction of some very special signed art and Disney memorabilia.  Authors Jeff Barnes (The Wisdom of Walt, Beyond the Wisdom of Walt) and Sam Gennawey (Walt Disney and the Promise of Progress City) will be on hand signing and selling books.

Why was the 1964 NY World's fair so important to the future of the Disney Parks?  Walt's Genesis idea for Epcot was never supposed to be a theme park.  Instead, it would be a true progress city of the future, where new ideas and technologies would be tested in Walt's utopian world.  What challenges did Walt's team of imagineers face in executing his original plans for Epcot and why did the team ultimately abandon Walt's original concept?

These questions are the thesis of a new documentary, Walt Disney - Master of Dreamers, from Director Anthony Cortese.  The film is set to release early 2019 and features Disney legends Bob Gurr, Richard Sherman and Rolly Crump.  Supporting commentary from Author's Jeff Barnes & Sam Gennawey along with Audio Animatronics pioneer Garner Holt and other contributors are also included in the film.
